Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Pixel Loupe is designed to be private by default. Images you upload are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to, or stored on, our servers.
Images you upload
When you upload an image to Pixel Loupe, it is loaded directly into your browser and drawn to a local canvas element. The image is never transmitted to any server, stored in a database, or accessible to us. Once you close or refresh the tab, the image is gone.
Cookies and local storage
Pixel Loupe does not use cookies or local storage to track you or save your images. Pinned colors and settings exist only in memory for the current session and are cleared when you leave the page.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics (such as page view counts) to understand how the site is used. This data does not include your images or any personally identifiable information.
Third-party services
Pixel Loupe does not share your data with third parties, because no image or personal data is ever collected in the first place.
Children's privacy
Pixel Loupe is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated occasionally, for example if new features (like ads or analytics) are added. Any changes will be reflected on this page.
